A Call for Justice

​​I am a former successful Hollywood actress, writer, and director. After being diagnosed with acute Panic Anxiety Disorder by a medical doctor, I dedicated my life to discovering organic approaches to healing my condition. That journey ultimately led me to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology.

Leaving the entertainment industry behind, I have spent the past 20 years teaching members of underserved communities how to organically manage difficult emotions. As a trauma survivor, mental health expert, and passionate advocate for organic healing, I have devoted decades to helping others recover from emotional wounds—without ever relying on prescription medication to manage my own anxiety disorder.

But beginning in 2024, I was subjected to repeated acts of discrimination by Lyft drivers who denied me service because of my service dog. These violations are not only unlawful—they represent a broader systemic failure to protect individuals with disabilities and uphold federal access standards.

I also discovered that several of my Lyft rides—specifically those involving drivers I reported for ADA violations—had disappeared from my ride history within the Lyft app. This deletion raises serious concerns about Lyft’s internal practices and their compliance with the 2020 DOJ settlement agreement requiring ADA accessibility.

What began as personal discrimination has now exposed something much larger: possible data tampering that undermines civil rights accountability. I am calling for a full legal review, transparency, and systemwide reform to ensure no one with a service animal is ever subjected to this kind of harm again.

​This is more than discrimination—it’s a potential violation of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, a breach of the 2020 DOJ settlement, and an act of emotional and reputational harm that demands legal redress.
